This day of Saturday I cooked:

French Cheese Omelette

Ingredients:

2 eggs
Pepper
Salt
Butter
Grated Cheese

Methods:

1. Break Eggs into a bowl, add salt, pepper, and cheese.
2. Beat eggs vigorously with a fork for about half a minute.
3. Heat pan, add butter and allow to melt but do not brown.
4. Tip and roll pan to coat well with butter. Pour off any surplus.

5. Pour in eggs and stir briskly for few seconds.
6. As the omelette begins to set lift edges to cause unset egg to run at the bottom of pan. This will give irregular edges and rippled surface.

7. When the egg no longer runs freely but still is creamy in the centre, remove from the fire and fold omelette in three.
8. Lift on a hot plate and lightly spread a little butter on the top.

Comments:
“Salty.” – Mum and Dad
